RSA oil pumps are designed for small/medium sized domestic and commercial oil burners up to 255 l/h.
The pumps have a built-in pressure regulator and feature a shut-बंद function.
Special regulating springs are available for feed/delivery applications.
The oil is sucked in from the suction port (S) through the gear train, where the pressure builds up. The pressure is kept constant at the value set on the adjusting screw (P1) by means of the piston and spring in the pressure regulator.
In a 2-pipe system, the excess oil is directed back to the return port (R). In a 1-pipe system with the return port (R) blocked and the bypass screw (A) removed, the oil is returned internally to the gear train (see figure).
When the pump is stopped, the pressure drops and the spring force in the pressure regulator moves the piston until it seats and the oil flow is effectively shut बंद.
Venting
In a 2-pipe system, the pump is self-priming, i.e. the exhaust is done via the contraction tube (O) to the return port (R).
In a 1-pipe system, if the return outlet (R) is blocked and the bypass screw (A) removed, the exhaust must be done via the pressure gauge port (Pn).
In a 1-pipe system with a subsump, the shut-बंद function of the regulating valve must be deactivated. This is achieved by connecting the nozzle line to the pressure gauge port (Pn) and plugging the pressure port (P). In this application, a shut-off valve must be installed on the nozzle line.
